Unexpected
If there is one thing we have learned over the years, it is to expect the unexpected. It seems from the moment we begin our trip, God has divine appointments along our way. Mrs. Sylvia McKee had one such experience in, of all places, the Atlanta airport. She shared this story with us.
"I was walking through the security check point in Atlanta. I had been instructed on what questions they might ask and how not to joke with the security officers. Just speak when spoken to and all that, so when the security guard stopped me and asked,
"Ma'am, are you a Christian?" I racked my brain wondering what in the world this had to do with homeland security.
"Yes sir, I am." He looked at me and asked very sweetly,
"Would you pray for me at the Western Wall?" All I could reply was,
"Of course! What is your name?"
"Aaron," he replied. I just smiled thinking of my own little Aaron at home and said,
"I know I can remember that."
You never know the when, what, or who God has awaiting you on this walk.
